Wat Arun is one of Bangkok's oldest and most spectacular temples. Located over the western side of Chao Phraya River, it stands over 80 metres tall and is renowned for its unique and colorful tiles that's originally made of broken pieces of porcelain from a British shipwreck. It's particularly beautiful when viewed in the sunset golden rays.

Chang Chui Bangkok Plane Market

This places offers a nice selection of shopping, dining and entertainment, all centred around a decommissioned plane (hence the name) and with an artsy vibe throughout. The variety of street food, cafes and pubs are nicely organized into different zones and areas where visitors can explore, chill and hangout.

Rot Fai Market

Visiting the night markets in any travel is a fun and great way to mingle with the locals and experience the culture and food! Located at Srinakarin, Rot Fai Market is relatively new but has grown to become a favourite among both locals and tourists.

With plenty of food stalls and bars to hop around, you won't be short of good food here - from a wide variety of seafood like grilled river prawns with cheese or a seafood bucket to rainbow cheese toast and the traditional thai crispy pancake.

Another unique part of this market are the wide selection of vintage and collectible items you can find here. So grab some food as you go on an antique treasure hunt!

Wat Saket

If you're looking for something more serene to spend your afternoon, then visit Wat Saket or the Golden Mount Temple. The climb to the top is a gentle 344 well-maintained steps, with amazing views along the way. It takes on average 20 minutes to reach the top at a comfortable pace. The reward at the end is a stunning and serene 360 view of Bangkok.

Looking for a sugar fix? This 2-storey chic cafe is the place to go, offering an assortment of colorful and beautifully crafted sweet treats. The whole premise is designed around their main theme - sugar or sugar cube, making it a clean and chic feel, definitely Instagram-worthy!
